ZEN PLANNER ROLL-OUT
Our club is rolling out Zen Planner, a software and service that will help us manage our club.  We are starting to use it now, and our goal is to have it running smoothly by the end of the year.  It offers a lot of benefits:
  • Registration - You can now sign up for a new membership online.  Through the end of the year, all current members can sign up for an annual legacy membership to maintain the same pricing you currently enjoy.  There are also premium memberships that include scheduled private lessons with a coach (also available at a discount to current members).  Check out the options.
  • Bill Pay - You can now pay with a credit card or directly from your checking account.  Automatic payments are processed for your convenience.  If you prefer to continue using checks or cash, you can do so.
  • Kiosk - We will have an iPad near the entrance for every member to check in at.  Check-in will now be mandatory.  This will track attendance and notify you of any issues that need addressing.  It will also allow payments and product purchases (we have several items available for sale).
  • Calendar - All of our classes and fencing times are now on a calendar on the website.  You can click on any item for more details.
  • Private Lessons - You can book private lessons online, just click on Make Appointment and then select an available appointment time.
  • Store - We now have an online store.  You can purchase from our Kiosk, online, or in person.  We have items you may need such as body cords, spare blades, etc.
  • Member Database - Zen Planner has a great database customized for our club.  Enter and update all of your info in your account so we have it available.
  • Communication - We now have a better way to communicate with our members.  Some emails are now automatically generated and sent.
We will have a learning curve as we make this transition, so please be patient as we work through the bugs.  Help us out by letting us know of anything that is not working or could be improved.

UPCOMING TOURNAMENTS
April 12, Four Corners Feud - Our own tournament.  Be sure to register now.  The more people we have signed up, the likelier we will draw fencers from out of town.
